Temperance Tarot Card: Notice how your energy affects others

None of us live in a vacuum. We are receptive to the energies that others put out, just as they are receptive to the energy that we ourselves put out. The temperance card of the tarot reminds us of this. Take a look at how your actions, reactions, attitude, and general disposition affect a situation and the people around you. Do you promote harmony or disharmony? Or are you completely neutral? How do you feel in the crowd? How do you feel in various situations? Are you comfortable or uncomfortable? What is it about the situation that makes you feel this way? Can you pinpoint it?

We can’t always control how others will feel around us. The best we can do sometimes is to try not to put out too much negative energy, and endeavor as we can to not be a downer that is going to make others feel drained. This is to be empowered by the Temperance archetype of tarot.
